Today was a Bittersweet day. Today we laid to rest one of the nicest and knowledgeable tow operators I along with most others fortunate enough to meet Dennis "The Legend" Bunsco have ever met. We were gathered around at the funeral home and in true Dennis fashion, there was a structure fire right down the road from the cemetery. Then as we are leaving the funeral home to go to the cemetery, I get a phone call about a commercial motor vehicle accident that Dave's got called to....a Tractor Trailer rolled over on the Somerville Circle. Everybody involved today knew that was Dennis's doing :)
Dennis, you were a very humble man who was never afraid to help anybody...You are respected and missed by all who knew you. Rest in Peace Brother!

It is with great sadness that we inform you that of one of our beloved team members, Dennis Bunsco, passed away on Monday, May 25th. Dennis has been a valued member of the Dave’s Heavy Towing team for nearly forty years. He started his career with Dave’s in 1981 as a tow truck driver who was on call and always available when needed by the company. He progressed through the years to driving heavy wreckers and tractor trailers coast to coast. Due to his extensive knowledge of towing and recovery, Dennis was rewarded with being the sole operator of our 60 ton Towing and Recovery Rotator, the largest truck in Dave’s fleet. Dennis took impeccable care of this truck and had great pride in being one of Dave’s longest-serving employees. He will always be remembered for his unsurpassed dedication to his job, the upmost respect he showed his fellow operators, as well as his kind, patient and gentle demeanor. Dennis will truly be missed by all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dennis’ wife Linda and his twin daughters Sara and Taylor.
