“Cricket Bedford knows Middleburg area real estate like the back of her hand because this is where she grew up riding horses across the wide open spaces and attending school through eighth grade at The Hill School and then on to high school at Foxcroft. Beyond that, her roots in her native state run deep as a graduate of the University of Virginia.
She started in the real estate business in 2001 with the encouragement of a good friend, fellow equestrian and real estate colleague John Coles. “I’d called upon John to help sell a portion of a farm I owned at the time just North of Upperville,” she said. “I’d started in advertising sales and took time off to have children.” Anxious to get back to work and with the prompting from John Coles she was thrilled to join the impressive group of agents at Thomas & Talbot Real Estate.
Under the guidance of both John Coles and, most importantly, the company owner, Philip Thomas, her business grew quickly.
