Here's what you need to know when preparing your home for showings. ⤵️
• Leave the home before showings to ensure buyers feel comfortable
• Open all blinds and curtains to let as much light in as possible
• Turn on all lights in the home
• Light (or turn on) the fireplace
• Place fresh flowers or lemons in the kitchen
• Ensure trash and recycling are taken care of
• Ideally, any evidence of pets should be hidden during viewings
Short-notice home showings are common, so don't let your home get too messy while on the market. It might be more work daily, but it will save you a lot of stress when showings are booked!
