One of my favorite days of the year! Today was the blessing of the blankets in memory of Madison Gallagher 💜 this year we collected, blessed and donated 96 blankets. Thank you to everyone that helped this year and over the past 7 years. We couldn't do this without every one of you! Over the past 7 years we have donated 948 blankets to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Madison's memory. Her memory lives on and 96 families will feel comfort all because of Madison and the wonderful people who put their time and talents into every blanket. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

If you have blankets to donate please message us so that we can make arrangements to collect them. Thank you all so much for your continued help for this very special donation. Today the Knotty Hookers, with the help of many in our community, dropped off a donation to Longmeadow Nursing Home in Taunton. We were scheduled to make this donation in the spring but with COVID everything has been changed. Some afghans, hats, mittens and shawls were donated to help keep the residents cozy at home and when they go out for appointments. Thank you hookers and everyone that has donated to support our outreach projects. This is what it is all about!!!

Look for scarves around town starting November 28 through Christmas 🎄 if you have scarves to donate you can drop them off at Homestead Quilting and Fabrics in Lakeville by November 18th or contact us and we can arrange to meet up and get them. 2020 has been hard on all of us so we are hoping to spread lots of holiday cheer this year 🎄

This past Saturday the Knotty Hookers took a field trip to Plymouth. We crocheted by the water all morning, had a yummy lunch and then did a little yarn shopping. We may not be at the library right now but we are still working and collecting blanket and scarf donations.
Continuing our 🎈June🎂Birthday🎉celebrations while practicing our social distancing & working on our upcoming projects❤️GREAT Way to keep busy❤️during these uncertain times❤️
We are still collecting items❤️If you have anything ready & would like it to be picked up, please send us a PM😘
Due to the concerns and shut downs from COVID-19 we will not be having any "official" Knotty Hooker gatherings until at least September. Hopefully by then the library will be open and group gatherings will be happening. Until then here are the projects that we are working on this year. We will be collecting the items for the nursing home in September instead of May. So as the song says "See you in September"
We know these can be stressful times for many, what better way to destress than to be creative while helping others? If you will be home "social distancing" and are looking for ways to keep busy, here is our schedule of donations for the coming year. Items must be homemade and new. They can be crocheted or knit, blankets can also be quilted or tied fleece. If you have any questions you can send us a message or ask on this post. Thank you to all that donate to the causes we support 💙
We will see you on April 23rd. If anything changes we will update our page. Stay safe and hook on 💙
🎂Happy Birthday Madison🎂
