We are doing our first Open Call to artists. This call is meant to fill some of the spots in our future shows. It is important to us to represent our local scene including those fresh individuals that may be beyond our reach. Please share this post with those you feel may be interested! This is shaping up to be another beautiful one. UNDEREXPOSED is a group photography exhibition that challenges the polished postcard version of Miami. Opening on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 7 - 11 pm, at El Fresco in Little Havana, the show invites viewers to look beyond the surface and into the layered, often underrepresented identities that shape the city.
Featuring local and visiting photographers, UNDEREXPOSED showcases urban scenes, environmental portraits, object-based imagery, and personal narratives—all presented in flat, frame-ready formats. The show aims to reframe how we see Miami by offering raw, honest, and sometimes unexpected perspectives.
The opening night will also include:
A guided drawing session hosted by Art Lab in the courtyard as part of El Fresco’s ongoing Art Club series
A pop-up photo and audio capture station by Observe Capture Destroy (OCD) x , documenting audience reflections
Live vinyl DJs spinning all night in El Fresco’s open-air courtyard Pop Up by

This is more than a show—it’s a community gathering, a creative investigation, and an invitation to see Miami with new eyes.

TUESDAY! Original characters will present their original characters. This is the second installment of our moniker show! Over 30 small scale works will be on display, beats will be bumping, and artists will be drawing live. You know how we do! Free, and open to the public. Come early! Who’s ready for the next Vinyl Tuesday? The Metro Zoo crowd was all new people, and we got a chance to let them know what we are about. We are back to our regular schedule every second Tuesday starting April 8th!!!

One Year ago we decided to host a free monthly arts and culture night to fill what we felt was a void in our beloved city. We are repeating our first theme with a focus on the essence, and fast mark making by representatives from every major crew in the city. That crabs in a bucket mentality will not stand as long as we do. Artist for Artists, love of culture over ego. And with the support of YOU, we managed to reach this milestone. I hope to see you familiar, and new faces next Tuesday.
