One thing I've noticed about the car community..
Everybody talks about respecting other people's builds.
Until a build they didn't want to win takes home the trophy.
Then suddenly the comments change.
Some people celebrate.
Some people say another car should've won.
Some people start questioning everything.
Which got me thinking..
Does the car community really respect other people's builds?
Or do we only respect the builds we personally like?
Keep it real.
If your favorite donk doesn't win..
Do you still respect the result?
Or do you think people should speak up when they believe another build deserved it more?
👇🏾 Let's hear it.
Do people really respect other people's builds?
One thing I've noticed about the car community..
The moment a car gets labeled as a "top build" or comes from a builder that labels themselves the best, people start looking at it differently.
Not to admire it.
To inspect it.
Every gap.
Every body line.
Every paint flaw.
Every detail.
Some people believe that's fair because if you're charging premium prices and claiming premium work, the car should hold up under close inspection.
Others believe people have become too focused on finding imperfections instead of appreciating the overall build.
And here's another angle..
Sometimes the owner ends up taking the heat even though they're not the one who built the car.
So where do y'all stand?
👍 = If a flaw exists, it should be pointed out.
❤️ = Judge the overall build, not every little imperfection.
Then explain your answer in the comments.
Let's talk about it.
DONKS RUINED THE OLDSCHOOL GAME.
Yeah, I said it.
But probably not for the reason you think.
I'm not saying donks ruined the game because they're ugly.
I'm not saying they ruined the game because they're overrated.
I'm saying donks got so big that they completely took over the old-school conversation.
Think about the last 10 years.
When people talk old schools..
What gets the most attention?
Donks.
What gets the biggest crowds?
Donks.
What gets the biggest debates?
Donks.
What gets the most social media engagement?
Donks.
There was a time when Cutlasses, Regals, Monte Carlos, Caprices, and every other platform felt like they all had their own lane.
Today it feels like every old-school conversation somehow ends up right back at donks.
Now before the comments go crazy..
I'm not saying donks don't deserve it.
The creativity.
The paint.
The details.
The wheel game.
The culture.
Donks earned their place.
But did they become so dominant that every other old-school platform got pushed into the background?
That's the real question.

Did donks ruin the old-school game..
Or did they save old-school culture and take it to another level?
Let's hear it.
UNPOPULAR OPINION:
Wheel brands don't matter.
Some of y'all laugh at China wheels while driving cars filled with parts that came from China.
The same companies y'all worship for their logos source materials, components, or manufacturing overseas too.
At some point, you gotta stop buying names and start judging results.
If two donks pull up side by side...
Both hard.
Both clean.
Both turning heads.
Why does the logo on the wheel suddenly become the most important thing?
🔥 Some of y'all don't love wheels...
Y'all love brand names.
Agree or disagree?
👇 Tell me the wheel brand you'll never stop buying.

BOBBY BROWN RUINED THE DONK GAME.
Yep, I said it.
Before y'all start typing, I'm not saying the owner did anything wrong.
I'm saying Bobby Brown may have raised the bar so high that it changed how everybody else approaches building.
Think about it...
After Bobby Brown hit the scene, it felt like the game got quieter.
Projects disappeared.
Debuts got delayed.
And suddenly everybody was comparing builds to Bobby Brown.
So here's the question...
Did Bobby Brown inspire the donk game?
Or did it intimidate the donk game?
Because if one car can make people stop building, maybe the problem wasn't the car.
🎥 Full take in the video.
Let's hear it.
The car stereo that changed the car stereo culture
At some point, car culture stopped asking...
"How hard is the build?"
And started asking...
"What brand is on it?"
Nothing wrong with quality.
Nothing wrong with spending money.
But somewhere along the way, the logo started getting more attention than the vision.
The crazy part?
Some of the same wheels people praise today would get clowned tomorrow if the center cap had a different name on it.
That's why every build starting to look the same.
Everybody chasing approval.
Nobody trying to be different.
A lot of opinions in car culture are rented from somebody else.
I know I'm about to make some people mad with this one. 😭
