This is an appreciation post for all the people I work with at the brands we have built during the past decade. In a symbolic gesture of unity, we have combined @outerknown, @firewiresurfboards, and @slaterdesigns under one roof. @dylanslater took over at FireWire one year ago and has done such an incredible job we decided it would only be right to have him as as CEO of Outerknown simultaneously. Dylan has worked in the surf industry in various roles over the past 20 years and we couldn’t be more stoked to have him steering our ships into the next 20. I’m passionate about the companies I’m involved with, because I believe in their missions, the products, and people. To have these major brands under one collective roof allows us to bring our pioneering innovation in sustainable apparel to the wider surf community, showing what’s possible by doing business in the most responsible way. And a huge thanks to our customers as well. Obviously, none of this exists without you guys and I count my blessings every day at how fortunate I’ve been to have these avenues to put our creative minds to work, bringing products people spend their hard earned dollars on.
