From the moment we stepped onto the Miami shooting location, the energy was pure comedy! The production team turned every corner into real South Florida party energy. The main cast Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, Kam Patterson, Ben Marshall and the whole crew were absolute professionals. Big respect to everyone who made this film happen! 👏

Background actors should feel free to accept as many availability checks (AKA first avails) as they desire until they are booked. And once they are booked, they should let the background casting director know they are no longer available.

SAG-AFTRA attended the 2026 National Association of Hispanic Journalists conference in New Orleans last week, where several South Florida natives spoke on various panels aimed at helping the next generation of broadcasters.

Miami native Tom Llamas joined fellow broadcaster Jose Diax Balart to speak about their careers in journalism. Shannon Gisela, star of Peacock’s ‘M.I.A.’ was also present to speak about Latino representation in entertainment along with ‘Chicago P.D.’ actor Benjamin Levy Aguilar.
