Hope Raising Foundation Conducts Massive Free Medical Outreach in Orsu-Obodo
Orsu-Obodo, Imo State | January 8, 2026
Hope Rising Foundation on Thursday, 8th January 2026, successfully carried out another Free Medical Outreach in Orsu-Obodo, recording a massive turnout and impactful service delivery to the host community.
The outreach, which formed part of the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian and health intervention programs, provided free medical services to hundreds of residents, including children, youths, adults, and the elderly. Beneficiaries received comprehensive basic healthcare services aimed at early detection, treatment, and health education.
Services rendered during the outreach included:
Blood pressure and BMI checks
Blood glucose testing
Malaria screening
Free medications
Eye screening and basic consultations
General medical consultations and health counselling
The exercise witnessed overwhelming participation from community members, underscoring the urgent need for accessible healthcare services at the grassroots level. Medical professionals, volunteers, and support staff worked tirelessly to ensure an orderly, efficient, and impactful outreach.
Speaking during the program, representatives of Hope Rising Foundation reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to improving community health outcomes and reaching underserved populations across Imo State and beyond. Hope Rising Foundation Conducts Free Medical Outreach in Ikeduru

Ikeduru, Imo State | January 2026 — Hope Rising Foundation has successfully conducted a two-day Free Medical Outreach at the Iho-Dimeze Ikeduru Local Government Headquarters from 6th to 7th January, 2026, delivering essential healthcare services to residents of the local government area.

The outreach was organized to improve access to basic healthcare, promote early detection and management of common illnesses, and reduce the financial burden of medical expenses on vulnerable populations. The programme recorded a large turnout, with beneficiaries drawn from Iho-Dimeze and surrounding communities within Ikeduru Local Government Area.

Medical services provided during the outreach included general medical consultations, blood pressure and blood glucose screening, malaria testing and treatment, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, eye screening with free reading glasses, health education and counseling, as well as free distribution of essential medications.

During the exercise, several previously undiagnosed cases of hypertension, malaria, and elevated blood sugar levels were identified and promptly managed by qualified healthcare professionals deployed by Hope Rising Foundation.

The Foundation commended the support of the Ikeduru Local Government authorities, community leaders, healthcare practitioners, and volunteers whose cooperation ensured the smooth and successful ex*****on of the programme.

Hope Rising Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to advancing community health development and sustaining humanitarian medical interventions aimed at improving the wellbeing of underserved populations.
