Great honor to have been invited to a historic event at the Mexican consulate in miami where the new regulations for Mexican consulates around the world are now allowing the transgender community to change their names assigned at birth. Apoyando a la comunidad cubana en Miami !

Yesterday we had a beautiful and a very meaningful Thanksgiving lunch. After almost two years of a very complex time, we were finally able to reunite 170 amazing human beings who have devoted their lives to serving victims of crimes and ensuring that justice is served to all! I was so happy to partner with the City of Miami Police Department, Therese Homer, Ana Rodriguez and Kristen Jackson to honor the great victim advocates from different police departments, members of law enforcement, county departments and community organizations who have worked so hard and have impacted the lives of thousands of victims of domestic violence , sexual assault, human trafficking and other violent crimes. Also, we had a very special moment when The - Office of the State Attorney - Katherine Fernandez Rundle our State Attorney, joined us to acknowledge the outstanding work done by the SAO’s victim advocates during the Surfside tragedy. We also honored the group of victim advocates from MDPD who have devoted their time for months to assist the families of those who lost their lives during this catastrophe.

Fue un placer como cada año apoyar este bello evento el cual beneficia los niños y familias de los trabajadores y trabajadoras agrícolas en Homestead. Estoy muy agradecido con BanescoUSA por la donación de mochilas escolares y por el grupo de voluntarios que trabajaron arduamente entregando los más de 350 mochilas donadas por Survivors Pathway Organization.
