progress... many of us don’t take a moment to pat ourselves on the back when we are faced with something difficult and find a way to remain peaceful. still. and let it pass.. remembering to watch your progress instead of trying to perfect something, allows us to be in the present moment and be proud of ourselves. this awareness will help us enjoy the journey instead of only the “perfected end goal” (which is unattainable anyways because you’ll always want something more after that..)🐇

your fat-soluble vitamins are A,D,E and K. Meaning..for your body to absorb them you have to eat them with a fat!! Hence the 🥕🥕 (vitamin A) and hummus (fat). Eating low fat diets for long periods of time will leave you vitamin ADEK deficient. @ Miami, Florida

skirt steak (iron) + lime (vitamin c) =
2-3x more bioavailability of iron..

If your having steak, have some lemon water with it..
If your a vegetarian or vegan, have lentils with lemon on top..

Signs of iron deficiency:
Fatigue
Brittle nails
Shortness of breath

Why is iron important?
-if your working out it, iron helps transport oxygen from your lungs to your organs, and tissues like muscles!
-if you struggle with fatigue or tired often, it is often because of low iron!
-if you are menstrating, you are losing red blood cells with iron in them, and could cause iron deficiency or anemia
