If your child receives ABA services, you've probably heard the term BIP, but what is it really? π
A Behavior Intervention Plan isn't a punishment plan. It's a roadmap built around understanding why your child is behaving a certain way, and teaching them a better way to get their needs met.
Every BIP should be individualized, strengths-based, and something the whole team, including YOU, understands and follows consistently.
Have questions about what's in your child's plan? Never hesitate to ask. You're part of the team. π

Tip Tuesday! ποΈ Let's talk visual schedules, one of the most powerful (and simple) tools you can use at home.
When kids know what's coming, the world feels safer and more manageable. Visual schedules take the guesswork out of the day and put your child in the driver's seat.
You don't need fancy materials, sticky notes, printed pictures, even drawings work great.
Is your family already using visual supports? We'd love to hear what's working! π
