Reminiscing on my first live painting…looking forward to my next live show in February!

I’ve been visiting Coconut Grove Art Festival for 4 years and this will be my first year participating as an artist! Looking forward to collaborating with Grove Hospitality Group again during this exciting weekend of art in the grove! 🎨🌴

As we get older, it feels like we experience less and less “firsts”. But this year, I’ve lived so many firsts, I don’t even know where to begin…

My first solo trip, my first art residency, my first time showing my artwork, my first time sharing the stories behind them, my first time introducing myself as an ‘artist’, my first time feeling ready to say yes to all of it.

I’m still processing everything that I’ve experienced, survived, and accomplished this year. In this moment, I feel incredibly lucky and blessed.

I’m so beyond grateful for all the love and support. I didn’t know what the reaction would be, but I am truly in awe. Thank you doesn’t do it justice.

My art is really intimate and personal to me. It’s not always easy to share or explain. I feel like I’m sharing my diary with the world. But now that I have…the fear has lessened. Inspiration, joy, and pride is what I feel now. I’m truly overwhelmed by all the energy and encouragement from my family, friends, and even strangers.

You all mean the world to me. I feel so lucky, and I am ready for whatever this next chapter entails…
