This felt like my first real attempt at directing for video. Things no one tells you: What lives in your head doesn’t always translate the same on camera. Probably true for any creative.
You can picture something so clearly—and still have to let it evolve once it’s real. I haven’t worked on a project with an unlimited budget yet, but I’m learning there’s never enough time, money, or perfect conditions to make something exactly as you imagined it.
Always another mountain, grass is greener ect. Needless to say, A LOT was learned.
Overall, I'm proud of us. I think it turned out pretty f**king cute 🎂🧁

A little late to post… I needed time away.
Somewhere along the way, I started second guessing everything I share, knowing this page doubles as my portfolio.

But I don’t want this space to feel like work.
I want it to feel like a diary… a place to remember how I chose to spend my time. Creating with friends, whether for work or simply the pleasure of creating something; ANYTHING.
Ultimately sharing it because, similar to life, it's not always about the final product. It's about what it took to get there, the lessons we learn, and how we'd do things differently (or not) if we had the chance. True art is the time spent with the people who challenge you, teach you, and show love through collaboration.
