All Brevard Public Schools and District offices will be closed beginning Wednesday morning, November 9th, through Thursday, November 10th, due to Tropical Storm Nicole. All school activities, events, and programs for these two days are canceled.

BPS is already closed Friday, November 11th, for Veterans Day.

Updates will be posted on the district website and social media platforms and sent via email to BPS families. Please note that Thanksgiving Week won't be impacted by the need to make up two days of school; those makeup days will be announced at a future date.

Shelter update for those in need. Please share.

Brevard County will open 4 shelters at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, for residents in the recommended evacuation groups and for individuals who do not feel safe in their homes as a result of the potential hurricane-force winds, storm surge, and flooding conditions from Tropical Storm Nicole.

The following shelters will be available for general population, those wishing to bring their pets, and those with medical special needs who have pre-registered or been screened by the Florida Department of Health-Brevard.
