It is always the little things. A baby's smile as they try to communicate with us. A friend calling or texting just to say hi. A loved one bringing you your favorite cold drink on a hot summer day. A coworker leaving chocolate on your desk. And on some days, it's the simple fond memory that runs through our mind.

Time, its all anything or anyone needs to grow. Once the seed has been planted, a little water, some sunshine and maybe some trimming here and there. And before you know it, whatever was planted has grown into something sweet.

Take a moment and admire your flowers, garden or plants you have growing. Its not really about the plants, it's about you slowing down long enough to notice something beautiful. In that moment, no matter how short of a moment, it means you aren't rushing. You aren't worried about the next moment. You are simply taking a moment to just be.
Which is one of the greatest things in life you can do, just be. Calm, relaxed, chilled and collected. Take time today to breathe and admire a flower.

We need to normalize not wanting a fast paced daily life. Most all of us have to work, most all have stress and hurry up and wait type jobs. But it does not mean that our personal lives have to be the same. The desire to come home to a quiet place, sit on the front porch and watch the sun go down, or drink coffee and watch it come up. Staring for endless time at the birds and watching a frog as he makes his home in your plant and eats all the bugs for you, we should do that more. We should crave that kind of stillness, peacefulness and calm.

You can do way more than you think you can. Often times when we are tired and exhausted we do not have the capacity to see the whole picture. Only whats in front of us, the current emergency. Don't forget to take a step back and look at everything. You most often find that you accomplished so much more than you thought. Don't forget to breathe.
