Community safe rooms will open across the county this afternoon due to the threat of severe weather.

Community safe rooms are open to anyone who feels more comfortable taking shelter pre storm in a safe room instead of their home.

This is not for residents to drive to at the issuance of a warning.

Small businesses suffer during weather when everything is shut down. As a small, family owned business, we would love to give shout outs to other small businesses! SATURDAY - We will be open from 11-5 or 6 today! Come in and see us and pick out a new comfortable mattress! We will resume normal business hours Monday. While main roads are mostly clear, please use caution on side roads and our parking lot.

THURSDAY - We had hoped to be open today but currently Interstate 55 north is shut down along with HWY 51 north. It also appears the parking lot at the store is still solid ice. We hope to see yall soon! All this time at home may have made you realize it’s time for a new mattress and we will be happy to help you with that when roads clear! Yall stay safe and warm!

Desoto County roads are still bad and interstates are horrible. They are urging people to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Stay warm and safe and we hope to see yall soon!
