I want to take a second to recognize this is a piece of American history, happening right before our eyes. This has been the largest national (and international) protest in American history.

Just showing how people can be nonviolent, and also say what they need to say!

People of all ages showed. All races. All shapes, sizes, and orientations. Today was a successful day of peaceful protesting by the people of Memphis. They raised their voices. There was an outpouring of support from those driving by.

Nobody was angry or hateful or mean.

They were united.

Here is the first look at my view of the Memphis No Kings Protest:

Today, I saw a unity. A love among the people. No matter who you were, you were welcome. We were peaceful, but we were loud. No flash bangs. No tear gas. No rubber bullets. And without those, despite no massive police presence, things remained as they were intended.

There is far more to come.
