A Way Out Ministries exists to disrupt the vicious cycle of sexual exploitation and trafficking

A Way Out Ministries was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1992 and was the first ministry in the US who specifically sought to help topless dancers

Today, we take action against sexual exploitation and pornography by advocating for legislative changes, helping rescue and restore those victimized by and trapped in the sex industry, and educating the community on the harmful impact of the sex industry.

HERE WE GOOOOOO!
These red bags and bouncer bags will impact over 100 people in the next several hours as we travel miles around the city of Memphis praying and ministering to God's children.
Thank you to every volunteer, business, church, and donor who makes these miraculous encounters possible. Keep us in prayer!
Off we go!

We are so grateful to Bellevue Baptist Church and Bellevue Missions for spending time with us today! It was a blessing to welcome their Ministerial Assistants interning from around the country and share the heart behind our ministry and also Eight Days of Hope who shared.

A special thank you for bringing a general contractor to take measurements and help prepare for an incredible project. In July, a Bellevue team will be joining us for a week to build a beautiful new deck for our women.

This deck will be so much more than a structure—it will be a place where women can gather to fellowship, laugh, encourage one another, heal, and learn to trust other women again. It will provide a safe and welcoming space for connection, growth, and restoration.

Thank you, Bellevue Baptist, for partnering with us, believing in our mission, and investing in the lives of the women we serve. We are excited to see what God will do through your faithful support! Stay tuned for pictures of the space!

A foundation is being poured... but this project is about so much more than a building.

This week, the incredible volunteers from Eight Days of Hope poured the foundation and began framing our new Pottery Barn—a space where dancers, trafficking survivors, and women in our programs will experience healing, creativity, and restoration.

As we watched the concrete being poured and the walls begin to rise, we couldn't help but think of Jesus' words:

"Everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." — Matthew 7:24

Before there can be walls, there must be a foundation. Before there can be restoration, there must be something strong enough to build upon.

For many of the women we serve, life has been built on broken promises, trauma, exploitation, and pain. But God is in the business of rebuilding. He is laying a new foundation—one rooted in His truth, His love, and His purpose.

This Pottery Barn will be more than a building. It will be a place where hands once used for survival can be used to create beauty. A place where stories of brokenness are reshaped into testimonies of redemption.

Thank you, Eight Days of Hope, and thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and supported this vision. Together, we're not just building a structure—we're helping build lives on the only foundation that never fails. ❤️

Today Eight Days of Hope prep team worked from early morning getting the foundation ready to pour our concrete pad.

This space will be used for pottery classes for women being s*xually exploited and trafficked. We can't wait to have a safe space where women will learn to trust, laugh, and find hope again!
