The Anti-Blight and Beautification Efforts Grant Program is now accepting applications for neighborhood beautification projects! 
 
This program was established by Memphis City Council resolution sponsored by Councilman JB Smiley, Jr. and is administered by Memphis City Beautiful, within the City of Memphis Division of Community Enhancement. Active neighborhood associations are invited to apply for the grant program.

Join the Wolf River Conservancy in partnership with Protect Our Aquifer for our annual State of the Aquifer Lecture at Flyway Brewing.

City of Memphis Winter Weather Operations Update Crews will apply a brine mix to the roads beginning on Wednesday, January 21, and continuing on Thursday and Friday. The city plans to use 25K gallons of brine solution to cover 330 miles of roadway (one lane in each direction on designated routes).

Garbage and recycling collection is temporarily suspended due to hazardous winter weather conditions. Snow, sleet, and ice have created unsafe conditions for collection vehicles and crews.
Residents should place carts out on their regular collection day and leave them curbside until they are serviced. Collection will resume as soon as conditions safely allow.
We appreciate your patience as crews continue to monitor conditions and work toward restoring service. Please follow City of Memphis channels for updates.
