Update #2: finally, the incarcerated owner of these dogs contacted the neighbor. They conference called the number for the AC who was to pick up the dogs and gave permission for the neighbor to take possession of the dogs. So I have these two and I need a foster home for them! update: so with no viable foster offers and these dogs being left alone in their home, we have to make a decision today to send them to Memphis animal shelter. A 16 y.o. blind and deaf dog at MAS.....These dogs mostly sleep, but they would not be safe in my multidog foster home. Where is the help for these poor dogs????
Memphis,TN: emergency foster needed for a situation where this owner is temporarily unable to care for these two senior dogs/ small one is 8 larger is 16 years old but both are small breed. Memphis,TN: this is Daisy the golden retriever mix who is part of a family of dogs we’ve been trying to procure fosters for so we can vet them. The family no longer wants to care for them as their resources are limited. Daisy is three years old and has two brothers who are also handsome. We lost all three of their vet appointments for lack of foster homes. Daisy is the most urgent cause she has had a heat cycle and been around male dogs. She will have to go to a home with another dog or be fostered with one of her siblings. We found out she is calm as glass when a person is with her but she cannot tolerate being alone in a strange place. She had only ever been around multiple dogs and more so than with people. She has been exposed to children and was good with them. Please email [email protected] if you can foster or are a rescue who will take her.

Memphis,TN: Last ditch effort. We had a foster for Daisy at least but Daisy has too much separation anxiety as the only dog. She has lived with her mother and siblings for her entire life. She busted out of a wire crate and destroyed some woodwork and furniture. She has a spay appt on wed morning that we can't use if we dont have a foster for her. I think if she were with one other sibling or another dog she would be a lot more manageable. The foster said as long as she was home, the dog stayed by her side and was anxious but gentle. She will be headed to Memphis animal shelter along with these other family members now without a foster. If there is someone who has another dog or could commit taking Daisy and one sibling please email [email protected]

Memphis,TN: Here is another "Rex." This one is a small 3 year old male dachshund mix. He is timid outside of his current home but seems sweet. His family has had more than one litter from his mom and needs to rehome several of these dogs. We need foster homes to proceed with vetting them. Memphis,TN: time is running out for these two beautiful male golden retriever/ german shep mixes. One year old. These dogs have been in someone's yard and are not well socialized. We have neuter appts for them this wed to be fully vetted. We cannot take them if there is no foster for 10-14 days to keep them from getting their surgery incisions infected. Memphis,TN: Meet Snowball, an 8 mo old 11 lb boy. I believe he may be a shih tzu/poodle mix. He is an owner surrender. They could not afford grooming or vet care for him. He has been raised with kids. He is crate trained. He mostly plays with Willow and wants my attention. Very sweet dog. He is heartworm negative and has had proheart. He will be neutered on Tuesday. Im taking applications now to foster to adopt or adopt this boy. Thanks to Letson for getting his all cleaned up!

Memphis,TN: New puppy alert! Willow was transferred from Helena,AR. She was found by the highway where she was sitting with her deceased mother. She was underweight and dehydrated, She spent a couple days in the Delta Vet Center practice and is doing well. She is 5.5 lbs and about 7 weeks old. Had her first puppy vaccine and deworm and a heartworm and flea preventative. Willow loves being around the other foster dogs and is eating well. I think she could be a flat coat retriever mix or possibly have some spaniel in her. She is precious. If intersted in fostering to adopt or adopting, please reach out!
