Memphis,TN: another senior shih tzu looking for a new home. Owner is losing her home. Piccachu is 11 years old, 16-20 lbs. He has not been neutered and we are trying to arrange a vet appt for him. Another small dog needing a new home. I've been getting a LOT of requests to help with small dogs but I dont have the foster base and I can't bring more into my home. I believe this dog Bingo is a dachshund/beagle mix. He is currently 22 lbs and about a year old. His finder has fully vetted the dog but lives near Walnut MS on a farm that is not adequately fenced for a small dog. She fears he is not safe there. "He's approximately 8 years old. His name is Ziggy, but we also call him little man/dude.He's between 16 and 20 pounds. He's up to date on shots, but no additional preventives. We could barely afford the shots. He's really sweet, but definitely alpha male. He has lived with an older dog we had to put down in March and a cat. Our daughter is 17 years old so I don't know how he is with young children. He does have to be sedated for grooming as he doesn't like his feet messed with. We don't do treats much, but I remember he is aggressive with bones. We just stopped giving them to both dogs when we realized this and that solved the problem. He does mark his territory (the vet said that was common with his breed) and it's become too much for us to keep up with. He loves to cuddle and loves all of the belly rubs and back rubs anyone will give. He really is very loving. We think he was mistreated before we got him. Oh! He's a sh*tzu mix. I'm attaching pics. Memphis,TN: please help by fostering one of these pups one week! They are being spayed today and if I return them to their present home Im afraid their incisions will become infected from being left in kennels too often in their own waste.
Both pups are just under 20 lbs and are four months old. They are timid but sweet. Could really use some TLC. Please email [email protected]

Memphis,TN: New dog alert! Presley is an approx four year old poodle mix (?) He is a little timid at first and likes the comfort and security of his home. He weighs about 11 lbs. He is housetrained and crate trained. Presley is neutered and heartworm negative and has had a proheart shot. He is a quiet dog who rarely barks. Memphis,TN: Seeking a foster for this sweet male mix named Buddy. He weighs 25 lbs and is housetrained and crate trained. He loves to line his kennel with toys and is happy to hang out in his kennel. He is affectionate and does well with other small dogs in my house. Recently some of the other fosters have ganged up and are harassing Buddy. They bark at him when they pass his kennel. They corner him when he is out of the kennel. I would love to find another foster home where he can be less apprehensive. Please email [email protected] if you can help
