Barnhart recently completed a complex lift using our ๐ ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ยฎ to install three major components beneath a steel structure that was never designed for vertical lifting loads.
The project required weeks of engineering, planning, and coordination to manage tight clearances, strict deflection limits, and load stability throughout the work. One component weighed 110,000 pounds, was elevated 30 feet in the air, and was set with less than one foot of clearance.
From gantry staging and custom catch plates to slide track and adjustable saddles, this project showed how Barnhart engineers solutions for lifting challenges that demand more than standard equipment.
Great job to all teams involved!

Week 2 of is focused on Roadway Safety, a topic that matters deeply to our team. ๐
Barnhart crews travel across the country to support some of the most complex heavy lift and transport projects in the industry. Whether they are hauling heavy equipment, moving between jobsites, or heading home after a long day, every mile matters.
Roadway safety starts with the basics: slow down, stay alert, check your surroundings, and never assume the other driver sees you.
Drop a ๐ in the comments if you or someone you love spends a lot of time on the road.
