Went to take down a towel bar toilet paper holder in preparation to repaint a bathroom and had to patch giant holes in the wall because the original ones were improperly installed. Rather than using some sort of joint compound to attach the wall pieces were put into the wall using joint compound to make a hook and it was sitting in the wall and grouted around.

A stuffed animal holder I built for my daughters stuffed animals. It used exercise band to hold the stuffed animals in place but also to allow my daughter to pull out whichever one she wants at the time. It is mounted to the wall since we do not want it to fall over due to climbing. The space at the top allows for a mini game of basketball by letting her toss the stuffed animals into the top.

A table I refinished and painted about 3 years ago. The table was originally all a light oak but the legs are painted gray with a clear coat finish. The top is now a dark mahogany which is waxed to protect and give a nice shine.
