Mehdia Raiise Cosplay

I forgot to share the awesome thing that happened last weekend on this page! I got to meet Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle, while dressed as Belle. It was amazing. And yes, I cried.

Even more awesome steampunk photos by Huffoto I will never tire of working with him! Bryan makes all cosplayers feel amazing, and does beautiful work. After having issues with photographers either not wanting to work with me or only wanting to shoot certain costumes, having a photographer who is excited to see a new costume and to take my picture makes me feel so much better about myself.

Just a couple more steampunk doll pictures from this past weekend.

A few from Sunday Tupelo Con. One is a lovely shot from Huffoto and the other with my new banner (the banner photo was shot by Huffoto as well, a year ago at Tupelo Con). This con was so kind and welcoming to me as a guest there for the first time. I'm excited to go back next year, having already been asked to judge the cosplay contest at the con in 2025.

Everyone can go home, we got the shot. After about a year and a half since I made my Anastasia costume, I have good photos of her by the amazing Huffoto. To say I nearly cried looking at this on the monitor is an understatement. The first time I wore the costume I cried because 14 year old me was living a dream in my (at the time) 39 year old body. The back of cosplay is so rarely photographed, but I had to have this shot. Also, I have to give credit where credit is due: that beautiful wig was styled by Vivian Foster, or pastelgothsloth. They are one of my best friends and an amazing wig stylist. The other credit goes to mom for helping me hand sew down all that lace. She did it while I was at work so that this could be worn the first time. I'm still in heaven with this costume.

Printed out a few photos of some of my cosplay to see if they might sell this weekend at Tupelo Con. I never know if people will want pictures like these, so there's just a few of each. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and end up with a bunch left.

Decided on my cosplay for Tupelo Con this weekend. This will be the first time Anastasia has been worn at a con. Stop by my table where I will be a cosplay guest and have my stuff for sale.

When cosplayers get bored, and have an amazing photographer who entertains their shenanigans, you get weird s**t like these photos taken at Haywood Comic Convention over this past weekend.
