So many incredible artists sharing their talents and love for Nashville producer, songwriter and studio musician icon, our friend Jimmy Nichols and his wonderful wife Tonya who has been fighting a rare respiratory disease and has been struggling to return to good health for so long. It was great to see my sweet friend at the recent !!! Touring is very demanding work and there were many awards presented throughout the evening for everyone’s talents, hard work and dedication! I don’t think it was my imagination, but I’m pretty sure Lainey’s amazing team took home the Lions Share!!! Deservedly so, since Lainey has been tearing it up out there on the road and all over the world for quite awhile!!! To say I was proud was putting it mildly. It was wonderful to get to reconnect and visit with each other after the show! She’s as sweet and beautiful as ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♥️

PS… on another note… It was also very special seeing our legendary friend and Iconic manager Jim Halsey receive such meaningful recognition from from The and were present to speak and pay tribute to dynamic role Jim played in their careers and so many other artists as well throughout the years… Jim made an appearance via video from Tulsa Oklahoma to graciously accept his award! It was a very moving moment during the show! At 90 years young, Jim already has yet another five year plan in place for the Oaks! That’s true belief and dedication! Go Jim!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♥️
