Today our toddlers turned freshly picked blackberries into delicious blackberry lemonade! 🍋🫐 This hands-on activity supported our Science Center as children explored where food comes from and how ingredients change when mixed.

☀️Our Pre-K Jr class enjoyed a hands-on lesson in the blackberry patch today. Carefully picking berries helped strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and focus. Students were excited to compare ripe and unripe berries and apply what they learned in class. Experiences like these bring classroom lessons to life. Thank you to our amazing chaperones for accompanying us! 🍎

A sunny day + a zoo adventure = the perfect field trip! ☀️🦓 Our senior preschoolers had an unforgettable time at the Memphis Zoo exploring animal exhibits, enjoying the aquarium and learning all about reptiles in the herpetarium. 🦍

🌈 Bubbles brought smiles and movement today! Our kiddos practiced counting each bubble they caught while strengthening muscles through running, reaching and jumping.

🌻 May is filled with growth, discovery and meaningful experiences for our scholars. Our students have enjoyed discussing the beauty of nature, nurturing our plants daily and exploring the weather around us.

🌿 Nature is one of the best classrooms! Outdoor movement activities help children meet developmental milestones while improving focus, sensory processing and emotional regulation.

🐝 Learning is always more fun when you can pretend! Today we became beekeepers and discovered how bees work together.🌻

It’s Family Friday!! Our students created collages using their family photos, sharing special moments and memories. This activity encouraged them to reflect on their identities and celebrate the important role family plays in their lives. It was a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone.
