Thank YOU to all who came out to see us at the Germantown Festival, buy a li’l something or simply just to say “hi!” We had a great time seeing everyone. We’ll be at The Market on Sept. 28 & 29 with some new designs in tow. Hope to see you there!

Surprise! We have been busy creating for a few fall festivals. Come see us tomorrow and Sunday at Germantown Festival. We are in slot F10 right by Poplar Pike.

Such sad news to hear about Taylor last weekend. I had this idea today as a feeble “thank you” of sorts for all the music that has meant so much to me over the years. I had the good fortune to see them play several times and each show was better than the last.

I heard a DJ on the radio this morning say “I mean, how many current bands can you think of where you know the drummer’s name?”…and they were right. And that’s true with each member/instrument. They all have so much personality. One reason they’re so great.

They’ll continue to stream in HEAVY rotation in the Mockingbird Studio forever.

Tuscaloosa has (surprisingly) been the most challenging yet. Had to go back to the beginning and try again after some spectacular failures (swipe >). Those looked much better in my head, but just didn’t work. But I really like the red coming through the black on the first pic so that may be the way to go. I may reverse the state and put it on the gray. Stay tuned…there may be 2 Tusacaloosas!

The TIGAHS are the latest to join the list of finished prints. I’ll have 4 of these in the store by the weekend so grab yours before they geaux!

Deeeeeep purple. I’ll call it Bordeaux, because that seems right. Stay tuned for the finished product. It turned out niiiiice on gold. Ink video in story.

We’ve been a little quiet, but we’ve been busy! We have been gearing up for a local festival, but it got canceled. Oh well, good thing we have an online store…

That’s said, who else is ready for fall (and football?!) we’ve created 3 new SEC inspired prints, but don’t worry…if you don’t see your school represented we’re working on it! And maybe even a few non-SEC teams as well…

Switched it up and busted out the watercolors. No idea where this one is going, but I liked the color. Had to take a break from lino because what I had planned just wasn’t working. Still have a few ideas but I’ll have to come back to it another day. Maybe tomorrow. 😂 Anyway, it’s nice to mindlessly doodle, but it’s also very frustrating when nothing develops. It all just gets recycled eventually though, right?
