More With Sam

Thank you to everyone who came to meet Sam today! He said it’s always fun to meet new friends and share his book. He autographed so many books!

We have begun collecting the signatures and names of everyone who has been showing support. We appreciate every adult who has shown support to Sam by purchasing his book, and we want to be able to look back on how we didn’t and don’t take for granted everyone one of you and your children!

Sam was awarded at the Richard Wright Literary Awards last night. His particular category was named for Earline Duncan, the mother of the great children’s book author Alice Faye Duncan.

Because of Sam’s making the Head of School’s list (all A’s from second grade to the first report card of this 5th grade year) at a school with a rigorous curriculum, we celebrated by going to Hawaii.

More With Sam is more than a public figure. He is a smart little boy who prays, plays, plays sports, loves big, is quite a jokester, and responsible. He got up on his own every morning to do his homework without being asked and scanned and emailed it back to school.
