Do you have animals? They usually love to lay or look out the windows, so don't forget to give those windowsills a wipe down!!

Cleaning tip of the day:
We're focusing on those floors today!
Sweeping and mopping!! Now, I prefer to vacuum all floors, even the hardwood floors. When sweeping I feel we're just pushing more and more dirt into the air which is going to settle back onto the floors your about to attempt to mop..

So break out the vacuum and start in the fartherest corner of the room and move backwards towards to the door way (this way you don't block yourself into a corner).
Now break out the mop and your favorite floor cleaner. Repeat the same, start in the father corner working your way backwars toward the door. Rinse your mop every time you complete a 4-by-4 foot area.

Clean tip of the day:
Today we focus on those kitchen cabinets! First vacuum the tops to get all the collected dust, wipe down any nick-nacks if you have them up there, and vacuum out the inside of the cabinets. They get dusty too.
Next, get a pot of water and boil it. Grab a pair or two of gloves (don't want you to burn your hands with the hot water). Once water is nice and hot, grab a rag, dip it in the hot water and start wiping them down. This will get most of the hard stuck on splatters and food particles.. for greasy areas, you may need to add in some dawn soap.

Cleaning tip of the day:
Bathroom day! Focus on the tub, sink and toilet.
First, go in and vacuum up all the dust and hair from all the surfaces and floors. Then spray your preferred cleaner on the sink and counter as well as the tub and toilet. Let this sit for a few minutes to allow some of the dirt and stains to dissolve. You may need to break out a pumice stone for the hard stubborn stains on the toilet and tub. Now just scrub and wipe clean!

Cleaning tip of the day: wipe mirrors and windows. Use a damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry cloth in wiping clean all those mirror and glass surfaces..

Cleaning tip of the day: after decluttering, dust and vacuum.
Before you start dusting, make sure the ceiling fans are turned off. Remember, don't fight gravity, work high to low. Start with dusting those ceiling fans first and the window blinds. Then move on to the tops of furniture and uderside of shelves (don't forget the undersides!), handrails and doorknobs, knicknacks, picture frames, counter and table tops and tv screens.
Change the bedroom sheets before you vacuum.

Cleaning tip of the day: before you start cleaning, clear the clutter.. start by going room to room picking up the clutter. Put away what is needed, donate or toss what you do not need.

Cleaning tip of the day: Don't fight gravity when cleaning. Working from high to low works better giving you a cleaner home.
