We’re at the Malden Farmers Market today and every Wednesday from 3pm-7pm. Today we are selling smash burgers, bbq pulled pork sandwiches, watchamacallit cookies, and watermelon lemonade! It’s a beautiful day to grab fresh veggies and the tastiest burgers you’ll ever have! Find us outside of Malden City Hall on Pleasant street.

For those looking to give back, we are making 100 meals tomorrow night (Tuesday, June 9th, 6pm) at The Kitchen for the Community Freezer and Food Link, both organizations that support those facing food insecurities. We are receiving food rescue boxes from Food Link today for tomorrow's class. We are seeing an increase in need for prepared meals for the community freezer and food link, organizations that serve those facing food insecurities in our community. Join us this Tuesday, June 9 for a Cooking for a Cause, depending on participation we will create 75-150 meals! Rescued food from will be provided for us to make healthy, flavorful meals to those in need! The Kitchen is having a Soul Food Pop-up next Friday, June 5, 4pm-7pm. We have the preorder form live for those that want to ensure we have food available! We typically sell out, especially cornbread and pulled pork!

All Classes | The Kitchen Melrose Cooking classes for kids, teens, adults and monthly dinner parties!

When I opened the Kitchen 3yrs ago, it was to bring people together around food-to help builds community, learn (new) skills, and to give chefs/teachers an opportunity to show off their talents. I thought of it as an experiment and I wasn’t actually sure the ideas and projections on paper would become the reality. The Kitchen has become that and more and it wouldn’t be this amazing 3rd space if it wasn’t for the generous community that continues to support us, the ridiculously cool and dedicated team of chefs that bring you unique classes and a welcoming experience, and if you’ve taken a class you’ll be impressed with the young teens that assist our chefs and spend hours cleaning and washing dishes. As a small biz owner I have learned ALOT about management, organizing, finances, and often fighting with imposter syndrome…but every year I’m more confident and sure in my “why” for opening up the Kitchen. Here’s to 3 more years, and more! Thank you to everyone that came out tonight to celebrate and for those who couldn’t but sent very sweet messages. Side note, why is my hand up on my hip in every photo “when I dip, you dip, we dip”- anyone get that reference?

Today's weather is a reminder that SUMMER is coming, and so is GRILLING Season!
