Building Management Systems, Inc. (BMS) hereby announces that founders Doug and Norma Padgett retired from the company this past August 31st, 2023. Their retirement, will bring to a close a remarkable career of almost 42 years of service to our clients and community.
BMS was founded and incorporated by Doug Padgett and Mike Hampton on September 15, 1981. Quickly making their mark in Brevard County, BMS was one of the first firms in the late 80’s to offer true DesignBuild services utilizing in-house architecture and pre-engineered metal building facilities. Over a span of 5 different decades, BMS has partnered with hundreds of local small businesses and corporate clients including Space Coast Credit Union, L3Harris, Health First, Brevard County School Board, Melbourne Orlando International Airport - MLB, Animal Medical Clinic, Space Coast Regional Airport, Cape Canaveral Port Authority, and hundreds of small Brevard County Businesses.
