💫 Transformation Tuesday

Like many of our patients, he found us through YouTube (almost at 30K subs, subscribe to our channel if you haven’t yet 😉). After just a few round trips between his home in the Northeast and North Texas, he now has a youthful smile he’s always wanted and a newfound confidence.

Traveling to a different city or state to get dental procedures done can seem logistically challenging. Great news- we have a special protocol for our “out-of-state” patients to make the smile transformation journey go smoothly.

👋👋 Flippity floppity DENTURE! See you never!

Just like a case we presented last week, this patient wanted just one “arch” fixed. A long-term upper denture wearer, she strongly felt the need to permanently retire her upper denture after decades of service.

Why does an upper denture get loose over time? The jaw bone shrinks when teeth are absent. In addition, the constant pounding by the opposing teeth (the lower teeth in this case) makes the situation worse. Could she have gotten a new upper denture? Maybe. However, she wanted a solution that’s the closest thing to natural teeth- a set she wouldn’t have to take out of her mouth daily.

Dr. Daniel Choi & Dr. Mostafa Ibrahim have given her a new set of FIXED teeth she had longed for for so long. Bye-bye old upper denture! Good riddance!

We do quite a bit of “single-arch” cases as well. If the opposing teeth are in a relatively good shape, we can get a great esthetic outcome by treating one “arch” only.
