Dr. Goldman will be part of the Texas delegation to the American Dental Association House of Delegates next week. This is the governing body of the ADA that decides policy and guides the future of the profession. She takes her responsibility seriously and keeps her patients in mind when voting on important issues.

It’s a big week on the national front with ADA Smile Con and the House of Delegates happening in Orlando, Florida! These are our six stellar delegates who will be taking time away from the practices and personal lives to represent your best interest as a North Texas dentist on the national front. The state of Texas has one of the biggest (and best) delegations in the ADA and we are also thrilled to support Dr. Craig Armstrong (a past TDA president) in his final year as American Dental Association Trustee.

The office will be closed from Wednesday, October 4 until 8:30 am on Monday, October 16, while Dr. Goldman attends the American Dental Association meeting. She will also be inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Dentists! 🎓 Meanwhile, the office will be getting a little cosmetic work done, which we can't wait to show you. If your child has a dental emergency, please call the office and follow the voicemail prompts. 🦷

Fall is in the air, and so is the excitement for all the fun activities that come with it! 🎃 Don't forget to keep your child's dental health a top priority during this busy season.

Here are a few tips to help your child keep their teeth and gums healthy during the fall:
🍪 Limit sugary treats. Fall is a time for many sugary treats, like candy, pumpkin pie, and caramel corn. Enjoy an occasional treat! Offer your child healthy snacks like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains regularly.
🦷 Brush and floss regularly. It's important to brush twice a day and floss once, even during the busy fall season. Help them establish a good oral hygiene routine by brushing and flossing with them.
🍁 Schedule a dental checkup and cleaning. It's important to bring your child in for a regular dental checkup and cleaning every six months. This will help prevent cavities and other dental problems.

This month marks Noemi's 9th anniversary at Texas Redbud Dental! Noemi started at the front desk, then she studied and obtained her Registered Dental Assistant license in 2017 (as pictured here) and moved to an assisting role in 2019. Noemi's calm and encouraging demeanor help kids (and parents) feel comfortable and at ease in our office. She is an invaluable member of our team, and we appreciate all of her hard work over the years. Happy work anniversary, Noemi! 💕🥰
