What if the answers youโ€™re looking for arenโ€™t found in another appointment? Every day I meet people searching for solutions. Parents worried about their children, women feeling exhausted and overwhelmed, and people struggling with chronic pain, inflammation, stress, hormone imbalances, fatigue, and a dozen other issues that are affecting their quality of life. Theyโ€™re looking for answers. Thatโ€™s why we host events like our Healing Table Series. โ€ฆ Along with the other healing modalities, we have in the store. L๏ฟผNot because we have all the answers, but because education matters, community matters, and learning matters. Sometimes one conversation, one idea, or one small change can completely shift the direction of your health and your life. The information is free. The opportunity is here. All you have to do is pull up a chair. You donโ€™t have to be an expert, and you donโ€™t have to have it all figured out. You simply have to be willing to learn. The most powerful thing you can do for yourself and your family is become an active participant in your own wellness journey, and weโ€™d love to have you at the table.

What a beautiful evening around the Healing Table. ๐Ÿ’š

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us tonight. There is something incredibly powerful about gathering in a circle, sharing experiences, learning from one another, and being reminded that healing was never meant to happen alone.

Tonight, we welcomed Elizabeth Plancon, who guided us through a discussion on the connection between our emotions, nervous system, and physical health. Elizabeth shared how unresolved emotions and chronic stress can keep the body trapped in a fight-or-flight response, which may contribute to symptoms such as brain fog, fatigue, digestive issues, bloating, muscle tension, neck and shoulder pain, sleep disturbances, anxiety, and elevated cortisol levels.

One of the most impactful conversations of the evening centered around the idea that our bodies often hold onto experiences long after our minds believe weโ€™ve moved on. When emotions are suppressed or ignored, the body can continue carrying that burden in ways we may not even recognize.

Elizabeth explained how she works with clients through regression therapy and other healing modalities to help uncover emotional patterns, release stored emotions, and support nervous system regulation. She also introduced the group to Kundalini practices and breathwork techniques that can be incorporated into everyday life.

A powerful takeaway was that healing doesnโ€™t always require a complete life overhaul. Something as simple as dedicating seven minutes each morning to intentional breathing can begin shifting the nervous system toward a more balanced state. We discussed techniques such as Box Breathing and Breath of Fire, both of which help activate the diaphragm, increase oxygen flow, improve focus, calm the nervous system, and support the release of physical and emotional tension.

The room was reminded that healing is not about perfection. Itโ€™s about creating small, consistent practices that help us reconnect with ourselves.

If youโ€™d like to connect with Elizabeth, learn more about her work, or explore her educational content, you can find her on Facebook and YouTube. She practices out of Evolve in Crystal Lake and offers services focused on emotional healing, personal growth, and nervous system support.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and contributed to such a meaningful conversation. For those who couldnโ€™t make it, donโ€™t worry. This is only the beginning. We have several more Healing Table gatherings scheduled with incredible local practitioners, educators, and healers who are passionate about sharing knowledge and building community.

Healing happens in community. We hope youโ€™ll pull up a chair and join us at the next table. โœจ๐ŸŒฟ

I did my best to tag everyone who attended tonight. If I missed you, please know it wasnโ€™t intentional. Some names werenโ€™t coming up for me on Facebook, but we are so grateful you were there and part of the conversation. ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒฟ Not every herb is right for every person.

Did you know some herbs can interact with medications, health conditions, pregnancy, and even upcoming surgeries?

A few examples:

โ€ข D**g Quai -blood thinners, pregnancy, hormone-sensitive conditions
โ€ข Licorice Root -blood pressure and heart medications
โ€ข Ashwagandha -thyroid medications, sedatives, autoimmune conditions
โ€ข Turmeric & Ginger -blood thinners and blood sugar medications
โ€ข White Willow Bark -aspirin and blood thinners
โ€ข Passionflower & Skullcap -sleep and anxiety medications
โ€ข Vitex (Chaste Tree Berry) -hormone therapies and birth control
โ€ข Milk Thistle -may affect how some medications are processed by the liver

This is why we ask questions before recommending herbs or creating custom tea blends. What works for one person may not be the best fit for another.

At The Rooted Ritual Apothecary, we believe herbal wellness starts with education๐ŸŒฑ

Before starting a new tea blend, tincture, or supplement, make sure you understand the potential interactions and contraindications.

๐Ÿ’š Your health is unique. Your herbal support should be too.๐ŸŒฑ
