I'm loving this lash fill I did the other day!!! ❤️😍

Makeover day on our way to platinum!! Started with permanent color that we put over blonde many months ago, did a Malibu CPR treatment to strip some of that out, a full head of babylights, Shades EQ for toner and a trim. Awesome results for our 1st round! 😍❤️💇‍♀️👱‍♀️

An awesome before and after project I did today. I used Olaplex and couldn't get over how incredibly soft and shiny her hair was when we were done!!!!

I needed to show some brunette love on here!!! A hint of cherry in your chocolate can give it just a little more sweetness 🍫🍒❤️

There's so much more to hair color than people realize! And you have to break through all those colors with bleach to go from dark to light, usually requiring multiple sessions, especially if you want to maintain the integrity of the hair. 😉

✖️When you lighten hair, you essentially burn up all the natural pigment in the hair. When you want to go back to dark, you can’t just throw on any ol’ dark brown. Those pigments that got eliminated when you bleached need to be added back in to create a balanced and rich looking brunette. This process is called filling or re-pigmenting.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✖️And then sometimes you go through all that work and it just fades out after like, 2 washes. Blonde hair is typically porous. It’s often not the greatest at holding onto color, or even accepting it evenly. It's time to start booking appointments!!!!! Thank you for your patience throughout this whole ordeal. Many of you have messaged me to check on me, let me know you're waiting for me and purchased egift cards and it means the world to me!!!!

I will be taking care of my loyal clients before excepting any new ones. The 1st appointments that will be scheduled will be based on the following:
- Any appointments that were canceled in March
- Anyone who purchased an egift card in the order in which it was received
- Anyone who messaged me about making an appointment in the order in which they were received
- Anyone else that reaches out to me

A couple of things:
To keep the appointment times as short as possible in order to cut down on exposure time and to accommodate the extra sanitation time, I ask that if you are coming in for a haircut only to wash your hair before you come in. I may or may not blow dry. If you are getting your hair done, please wear a mask that goes around your ears rather than the back of your head. I know everyone is anxious to get their services done. But please, please, please reschedule if you are feeling even the slightest bit unwell in order to protect me, our clients, our staff and all our families. I have asthma, high risk family and family with compromised immune systems. If you cough or sneeze I might have a minor heart attack and I apologize in advance for any look of panic on my face lol.

Gave my son a quarantine hair makeover! It turned out perfectly AND I even got a hug and kiss when we were done, without asking for any 😳😳😳❤

PS, I did this in my kitchen, not at the salon. My back is a little sore after shampooing over the kitchen sink a few times lol.

PSS, He refused to show his face in the before pics and then agreed to his face but refused to smile in the afters, hence the mugshot lol. I was lucky to get any pictures. Teenagers 🙄

This post is for all my loyal clients!

Please, I know this is hard. We all want our services done to look and feel great! And I want to go back to work too! But please be patient. There are some stylists/technicians starting to work again, and while that is their prerogative, other stylists and technicians are just trying to follow guidelines, and wait for the ok from our government. I ask you to please be patient and wait as I would love to see you all in my again when this is all figured out soon.

According to Gov. Pritzker's 5 phase reopening plan, salons can open in Phase 3 as long as certain requirements are met, but it will not happen any sooner than May 29th. If everyone does their part and continues mitigation efforts, we can make this happen!!!
