One of the best parts of having lifetime clients that grow up with one stylist, is watching them confidently embrace the exploration of their own style and the communication with that trusted stylist. This handsome guy wanted a mullet/mohawk/lightening bolt/line work haircut in a suprising new style change. He also resquested to be “posted all over social media”. Melanie is so smitten with him that she would have done anything he asked

Today, your favorite Aveda salon celebrates 13 years in business. We started our partnership in a basement desperately trying to create a space to serve you. We rose from the basement to Best Of The Fox and built a beautiful team of staff members and clients. We have grown so much and survived the hardships of a pandemic because of each and every one of you. This natural brunette came in with a never before colored canvas and left with this! Courtney started by applying a global lightening technique, neutralized with a pretone and refined with a rose gold finish, giving her a show stopping, yet soft pale blonde. These results are incredible and can only be produced in one session when many factors come together just so. How beautiful is this?

This little beauty has been coming to Melanie her entire life. That is why Callie and her mom trusted Melanie to give her a purple ombre color! The relationship between a stylist and the clients that grow up in their chairs is unique and very special. Isn’t she rocking her new look?

Lifting through rich, dark hair and creating an even, soft and perfectly toned highlight is a specialty skill that takes time and strategy. This beautiful head of hair belongs to Lupe and the credit for the incredible color belongs to our own Courtney.

Accentuating your natural beauty does not have to feel plain or boring. Taylor’s journey began with a lot of trust and elaborate consultation with her stylist, Melanie. The results were beautiful and soft. After some time of embracing this success, Taylor was ready to add a bold touch and a little contrast. The beauty of this is how it will still work with her natural base to maintain lower upkeep. Strong communication in client/stylist relationships make goals like this come true!

A full head of heavy babylights with a root smudge and icy blonde toner brought this canvas from picture 1 to picture 2. This was done in one session after an elaborate consultation and long salon visit. Melanie is proud to claim this color correction as her own.

To go from the first picture to the second in only one session is something that can only come from a skilled and strategic formulation and technique. You can expect nothing less from our own, Nicole Neuffer Nordenson.

Contrast…dimension… definition…. Melanie had a blast converting a grown out balayage to this resurfacing CHUNKY highlight trend. The model is an absolute beauty which makes show stopping color seem effortless!

The Wolf cut is in and happening! This particular design came from Melanie’s chair. Ashley’s color and cut are tailored for her texture, skin tone and style needs. Tying in classic and trendy, this is a perfect style for someone that’s not afraid of bangs and face framing!

It’s officially feeling like fall! 3 Dimensions has been busy creating beautiful and intense, custom colors!

Smokey grey, anyone? This is a brand new Aveda tone deposited over blonde highlights! Classic, trendy and absolutely beautiful. Erin is proud of this one!

If fall could be summed up in one post, here it is! This is the ultime rich, sultry, melted color in all shades of auburn. The cut combines timeless with trendy. The style compliments the tonal quality and ties it all together. Courtney Tibbetts enjoyed putting her magic touch on this one.

Heavy highlight, base color, pretoning and bond restructuring are all done PRIOR to that final glaze of high intensity violet. Any skipped step ends in a compromised result. 2 Nicoles spent their whole day at the salon for this work of art to come to fruition. One is the beautiful client and the other is our talented hair stylist!

This is what you get after 4 hours at the salon! Cailyn came in with a 2 year old blonde balayage. This was a great base but required a full balayage touchup with a bold money peice, vibrant copper overlay, deep neutral shadow root before a fresh cut and curtain bang to be brought to this result. Sultry, Autumnal and bold, this work of art belongs to Melanie Taylor.

This asymmetrical cut is beautifully created to frame the client’s face. The color falls perfectly into the expert design with the intention of accenting texture and tonality. Look at how her bright eyes pop and pull the whole look together. Nicole nailed it.

Good things come to those that wait… 5 whole hours from start to finish. Fashion colors are often only attainable when natural remaining pigment is removed to provide a blank canvas. After an initial lift, analysis of the tonal result, and an assessment of hair condition, an overlay of color is applied. These results were well worth the time and process. Nicole is the hardworking talent behind this brilliant and bold work of beauty.

This picture perfect and dimensional blonde is the proud work of Courtney. A traditional foil pattern may seem basic to some but intentional and skillful ex*****on can produce incredible precision and flawless plays on tonal quality.

This brave beauty is Eva! She cut 13 inches off of her hair and went bold with Bubblegum pink. Her 3.5 hours at the salon was spent bleaching, pretoning, toning, conditioning, coloring and making her stylist laugh the whole time. It was such a privilege to be trusted with such a transformation. Melanie is the proud maker of this masterpiece.

Please meet Noah and his freshly permed mullet. This handsome and adventurous guy has Alopecia Areata which makes these luscious locks a hot commodity. Since nature gave him the perfect outline for a mullet, these curls amplified the shape and volume effortlessly. Noah brought a lot of light to the salon for his first perm experience and the happy customer confirmed he expects to be back in 6 months! This is the proud work of Melanie Taylor.
