We have many sponsors to thank for their help with our 10th annual event. Every single one is extremely meaningful to us and we are deeply grateful. First, of course, we'd like to thank our premier sponsor of the last few years, D.C. Cobb's McHenry. This business made a significant, five-year commitment to our fest in its first year in town, and we deeply value their continued support.

Partnering with us to promote our event were the Northwest Herald, Star 105.5 McHenry County, Visit McHenry County, Illinois, Chicago Blues Guide, McHenry County Living, Cedarock Communications, McHenry Printing, McHenry Outdoor Theater - Golden Age Cinemas and Wolf Wordsmithing. We also appreciate the advance coverage we received from the Daily Herald and Patch. Thanks, too, to Stefan Levy and Woodstock Harley-Davidson for spreading the word to area motorcyclists and for scheduling a ride to our fest on Sunday. And, of course, many thanks to Greg Easterling, our emcee, and a true ambassador of the blues, who talked up our fest on many occasions and on multiple outlets.

The city of McHenry and villages of Lakemoor and Johnsburg will help us promote on their digital signs. We are, of course, utilizing Facebook. And many area businesses, especially the fest's generous sponsors, have posters and event cards on view. Some, like Adams Auto Body and Service Center, Gary Lang Auto Group and Grinders Ale House have been doing ticket giveaways.
Be sure to listen to Star 105.5 McHenry County the week preceding our event to catch this year's ad and their ticket giveaway opportunities! And many thanks to the fine folks at Star for putting the event's co-chairs, Don Tonyan and Denis Buch, on air along with Johnsburg High School student Hailey Wojtaszek to talk about the fest and the good done with the proceeds raised.
I think that's what I love best about being involved with this fest and the group behind it. It's not just a blast, but the funds are put to great use supporting entities like Tls Veterans, Family Health Partnership Clinic, Northern Illinois Food Bank and Feed My Starving Children - Libertyville, to name a few.
It's a lot of work for all involved to put a fest like this together. But it's also truly rewarding to be a part of it. I hope to see everyone out at the park in a couple of weeks!
