Water is on the rise, but the fish have moved in!

2026 Spring walleye run bookings will open soon. We are still waiting to hear if the land bridges blocking the river(White Street) will be removed before then. These bridges are blocking the only safe passage up river,also they are blocking the high water fishing spots.

East harbor State Park

Another good day out at East Harbor, many Bass, 9-10” bluegills and some jumbo perch. 6” of good clear ice 200 yards out . Water was alittle stained with about 3’ of visibility.

2-3” of ice in most spots within 200 yards of the kayak ramp, the first 10 feet of ice off the launch is pretty sketchy but good clear ice forming past that. Water is down with most places being all around 3 feet deep.
