Ski season tip. In order to keep your feet warm in ski boots, wear the thinnest socks. Thick socks will hold moisture next to your skin. A thin sock will wick moister away allowing the boot liner to absorb the moister. Compression socks work great because they help increase circulation. Make sure to start with dry boots.
As the cold weather approaches people think about heat loss in their home, however, most neglect the 2 foot by 4 foot hole in the ceiling, the attic access door. This door has a R value of about zero. Get your door insulated.
