We wanted to send a HUGE THANK YOU to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3739 for their very generous donation to our center! These sorts of donations allow us to provide special rewards for staff, extra treats for the kids as well as aiding us to help other organizations in need. We are so appreciative of your support!

Dear PHS friends and family, after careful deliberation and multiple reports from our staff members and families, we have determined that several neighborhood roads are unsafe for travel. Therefore, PHS will be closed fully on today, Monday, January 6, 2025. We will reopen for normal business hours tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7, 2025..

We hope everyone stays safe and warm!

ATTN: All PHS staff & families! Winter weather is expected to move into our area overnight and into early morning hours. As of right now, PHS plans to delay all services until 12 PM tomorrow with plans to run a 12 PM through 5 PM clinic if travel is safe for our staff and families. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will update all staff and families here and by email, if a full closure is needed. We hope everyone stays safe and warm during this event. NOW HIRING: Part-time Van Driver at PHS Autism Center! This job is perfect for individuals looking for extra income and a flexible schedule. Additional opportunities for full-time coming soon.

Qualified Applicants should be:
-At least 25 years of age
-Ability to pass pre employment checks and screenings
-Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the last 5 years
-Valid Class A Drivers License with no points or restrictions
-Available 15-20 hours per week Monday-Friday (we can customize a schedule that works for you)
-MUST LOVE WORKING AROUND CHILDREN!

Dear PHS Family and Friends,

While we strive to share happy moments with you, this post is a very sad one. On Monday, we learned that one of our cherished team members Danita Johnson passed away unexpectedly. This news is heartbreaking and came as a true shock to us all🙁. After speaking with her family, we decided to wait a few days before sharing this terrible news with our social media family, in order to allow her relatives to notify those closest to her before sharing it publicly here.

We are all sad and doing our best to process the emotions and deep sense of loss we all feel, while trying to find ways to honor her memory and to help support the two small sons she left behind. We ask that you keep us-and more importantly-her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as we move through the days ahead. Danita was such a kind and gentle person and she was awesome with our kids. We grieve her passing and we will never forget her, her smile and the joy she brought to PHS staff and clients. We will be posting again in the very near future with ways we plan to honor her and her young sons as they begin to navigate life without their sweet mommy there to care for them.

Thank you to our special helpers at PHS Autism Center and to Food Lion who assisted us in preparing a meal for our neighbors in need. While most of us are focused on endless ingredients for preparing our delicious meals tomorrow , there are those in our community who are hungry. We are so grateful to be of service and I hope we all focus more on helping others however big or small the deed 💙 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Today was AWESOME as we were able to host a gratitude luncheon for our amazing staff! We are so very grateful for each of them, the support they provide our kiddos and our team as well as the individual gifts that make each of them so special! Although a few were missing, you are appreciated SO VERY MUCH!

Today is such a special day for us-a chance to honor and show appreciation to every veteran who selflessly served our country to protect the rights and liberties which we hold dear. THANK YOU to each and every Veteran who sees this post- we will never be able to repay you for your sacrifices, but please know we are grateful for you all!
