Our Summer Healthcare Academy students enjoyed their first field trip of the summer with a visit to The Waters of Hartford City last week.

Students had the opportunity to learn about senior care and explore this important branch of healthcare. Max was an outstanding facilitator and helped students understand what it takes to provide quality care in a nursing home setting.

After lunch, students spent time interacting with residents, making the day even more meaningful. It was an experience filled with learning, connection, and compassion.

Our Popsicles & Possibilities event was a huge success! We gave away 500 popsicles to families in our community while sharing information about the many opportunities our campus has to offer.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with us, asked questions, and learned more about Ivy Tech. We loved spending time with so many families and future Mustangs!

This event was a great reminder of how powerful reading, learning, and community connection can be for children and families.
