We couldn't end without mentioning one of the best, Laddie Boy!
Let’s meet the famous Laddie Boy, who was the celebrity Airedale Terrier, which belonged to Warren and Florence Harding.
Laddie Boy was the first celebrity Presidential animal. He made it into many news stories and magazines.
Laddie never missed an opportunity to be by President Hardings side, from brining the President the newspaper, enjoying some golf, and attending important cabinet meetings, he was always loyal and honest. Laddie boy was a true representation of loyalty and honesty, and these were virtues of President Harding.

You will be able to use black lights to solve hidden riddles, use magnifying glasses for getting an up close look at some mysterious prints, and document your finding in your very own TOP SECRET case file! We had our first kids become Detectives of the Laddie Boy Mystery Club today! Come join in on the fun!
The newly launched Laddie Boy Mystery Club for kids is under way! The program is a free add-on to a student admission.
Laddie Boy has set all of his dog houses out in anticipation of all the detectives that are going to come and solve his mysteries!

Starting tomorrow and continuing every day the site is open, a child admission includes a chance to become a Laddie Boy Mystery Club Detective! For more details be sure to ask at the front desk of the Harding Presidential Library! We hope to see you soon!
