We are super excited that Marita Hines moved her gallery into our former dry cleaning storefront. We look forward to the art studio events and classes.


We are closing the services of dry cleaning and wash-and-fold services in the front of the laundromat. We sincerely appreciate the support of the community since 2008, when we added these services. If you have items to pickup, we will be open through Fri 5/14: 12noon to 5pm, and also Thursday 5/20 from 3 to 5pm. Or message us to arrange a pickup time. The Laundromat continues normal hours of 6am to 10pm, 7 days/week.

How Using Too Much Laundry Detergent Prevents Clothes From Getting Clean Even when the recommended amount of laundry detergent seems inadequate, it's best to follow the instructions on the container if you want your clothes to get clean.

Our seamstress has completed more adult masks in 2 colors. 100% quilters cotton, batik dye for excellent filtering of air particles. Replaceable wire over bridge of nose (we send extra so it can be replaced for constant best fit), with small pleat at chin for good fit at bottom of mask. More colors available in kids masks. $5 for either size. Storefront open Mon to Fri noon to 5pm.


Searching for missing items in your closet and drawers? Your clothing could soon be on the racks of the clothing bank across the street. We have seen an uptick this summer of forgotten items in our machines. PSA: set your phone timer for end time of washer/dryer.


Our annual November Coat Drive is beginning. Pass along the items you no longer need to someone who can use them.


Get those coats and jackets ready to wear, you know those items you put away dirty last spring. And yes, we repair/replace broken zippers on your favorite coat. Express Store hours are Mon to Fri noon to 5pm. Laundromat open 6am to 10pm, 7 days/week.


Storefront hours are now expanded to 12 noon to 5pm, Mon to Fri. We offer shirt laundry, dry cleaning, alterations, and wash-and-fold service.. And we still have masks for sale for kids and adults. Laundromat continues to be open 7 days/week, 6am to 10pm.


We have an abundance of yellow squash and zucchini from our garden. It is in a box in front of laundromat, free. Help yourself to what you can use.

Children's masks are here. All masks are 100% quilters cotton, $4.00 each. Express Laundry staffed hours are 1pm to 4pm Mon to Fri.

Face shields arriving Tuesday, May 26. Shield is 8 mil plastic, can be removed and cleaned. $9.00 and includes 2 plastic shields. Made by Marietta resident. Preorder orders of 5 or more.([email protected])


We have face masks available for purchase. All are made with 100% quilter's cotton, with prints made from batik cotton. Both types were reported by researchers to have excellent filtration. (NY Times, April 20). We use a replaceable wire across the nose, as wires get bent in pockets and then feel uncomfortable. Also there is a small tuck at the chin, which provides a better fit. Masks are $4. Our storefront is open Mon to Fri from 1 to 4pm.


We have masks available for purchase. Made with 100% cotton (2 layers) and replaceable wire over the nose for ongoing best fit. (We give you extra wire.) All are 100% quilters cotton, double layer, with tuck at chin for better fit. Our prints are Batik-dyed, which some tests show as providing even better filtration. We used 2 kinds of elastic, with some a tighter weave than the other softer feel. Masks are $4 each (cash) and can be purchased Mon to Fri from 1pm to 4pm at Express Laundry.

Our storefront services of dry cleaning, alterations and wash-and-fold are closed per Governor's instructions. Laundromats are considered essential; the laundromat continues to be open regular hours, 6am to 10pm, 7 days/week. There is hand sanitizer and hand soap available.


The laundromat remains open 7 days/week, as an "essential" business. Our staffed hours (storefront) for March 16 to 20 will be 12 to 5:30pm.


February Special: $2/off our 30x40 bags with strap. During February, 2020, pick one up for $7.00, while supplies last.


We'd like to thank our customers, friends, and neighbors for their donations during our coat drive! The Marietta clothing bank will pass them on to our neighbors.

Brrr, time to dig out the coats. Our annual Coat Drive is underway. We are also receiving hats and gloves (new or used). Note that these items get shared with neighbors via the Marietta Community Care Center.

The Community Care Center is having a party and you are invited! Tania Lyn is a member of our team, always cheerful when she arrived for the afternoon shift. And creative designer of storefront window decor this year. My brother-in-law, Doug Deen, had a stroke on June 17. On that morning, my sister, Tania, woke up to find Doug struggling to talk and move. Our laundromat is open on Saturday May 11 2019 but our dry cleaning store is not. Market Street is closed to traffic due to Marietta Day until about 4pm. Plan to use Apple Alley and Mulberry Street and park on gravel lot behind the laundromat. And while your clothes are washing, check out street vendors and food trucks.


It's cold out, and it's time to get those winter coats and sweaters out of storage and make sure they are ready to wear. Some coats can be washed in the washer, while others need to be dry cleaned. Read the tag so you know how best to clean the item.
