AViD club members - send me your photos from bottling or post them on the AViD site!

AViD in action
Grape season is upon us with harvest in late Sept or early October. We are planning on Carmenere and possibly a white for this season...need to know who is interested in participating
Grapes are in and Pinot Gris is fermenting
Sangiovese fermentation photos. Sangiovese is a red Italian wine grape variety that derives its name from the Latin sanguis Jovis, "the blood of Jove".
Though it is the grape of most of central Italy from Romagna down to Lazio, Campania and Sicily, outside Italy it is most famous as the only component of Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino and the main component of the blend Chianti, Carmignano, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Morellino di Scansano, although it can also be used to make varietal wines such as Sangiovese di Romagna and the modern "Super Tuscan" wines like Tignanello.[4]
Montelpulciano fermentation photos
Montepulciano [ˌmontepulˈtʃaːno] is a red Italian wine grape variety that is most noted for being the primary grape in the Italian DOC wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
It should not be confused with the similarly named Tuscan wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, which is made from predominantly Sangiovese and is named for the village it is produced in, rather than for containing any Montepulciano grapes in the blend.
