We provide weekend food bags to students needing a little assistance over the weekend. The Nest is a place of security. A place of comfort. Matthew 5:16
A place to find strength to go out into the world. The Nest is a place to find security and comfort, while finding the strength to weather the storms of life. We are a beacon of hope for those facing storms. This program provides a backpack full of food to the students of Local schools
facing food instability on the weekends. This program is provided to the student’s solely on donations of food or monetary. Each week the food is packed at Advent Lutheran by volunteers. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Many thanks and blessings to everyone that helped this past school year of 2024/2025 . We are so grateful for all the wonderful volunteers that helped stock shelves , pack the weekly bags, deliver to the schools, donation of Cub/Target, etc bags, sort the empty, recycled bags we pack in, the food and monetary donations and all the continuing support and prayers.
We are now getting ready and look forward to our eleventh school year to assist our local students.
2 months into our 10th year serving Osseo Area Schools and we have 144 students bringing home a backpack of food each week, our highest number yet! We are so grateful for your support! ❤️
