Sunday Funday with the kids.

Another fun one we buttoned up recently for our boy … Took the “Best Engine Bay” award this past weekend at racewors and also put down some decent power on the Dyno as well… We love building cars like this… Fast, reliable and clean.

and so it begins...

I built this kart a number of years ago for my now 15 year old son Boog... He has since out grown it and doesn’t really ride it at all... I had it just sitting around in the back of the shop waiting... Waiting for this day... My 3 year old son Rayce just happens to walk back there with me (which I usually never let him do) and he stops in his tracks, shocked... “Wow!” He said... “Is this for me???!”, pointing at the kart... Before I could even reply he said, “Thank you for my race car daddy!!!”

I guess it’s his now...

We pulled it out and let him clean it up and play around on it... Now maybe he will have a good reason to eat all his food so he can grow big enough to drive it soon...

Livin that Rolla Life tonight... Getting this thing rust free, stitch welded and back together... Can’t wait to get this thing back out on the track... #86

Some progress we have made so far on 89 SI hatch build... Stitch welded the engine bay and fender wells and sealed with undercoating... Also motors together and ready to go in... Can’t wait to see this one back up and running... Will be a fun and capable track car.

This car went though a complete transformation... It came to us originally as a minty fresh bone stock super low mile Hyundai Genesis and left as something totally different... Not a single system was left untouched on this car from the brakes to suspension, exhaust, rear diff, shifter, fully ported heads and manifold, wheels, wide body with a ton of add ons etc... There is a bunch more that I’m sure I’m missing... My only regret is that we didn’t get an identical pic of it in oem form for a before and after comparison... Thanks for giving us the opportunity to get really crazy on this one and allowing us to expand our horizons to this unique platform... Looking forward to all your future plans with this thing...
