Let's look at the Old Dutler Bowl Location over the years starting in 2015. By 2017 it was a Vintage Mall keeping the original sign. By 2019 it is abandoned and gets into really rough shape by early 2023. November of 2023 it is demolished to make room for the new Axis Lofts building. Anyone have any memories from Dutler Bowl? Our Then and Now Series is back with 1128 S Riverfront Drive. In 2013 it was a Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pastas. By 2014 it was We Got Games. Remember the Embers? Closed in 2006 due to the Mankato Indoor smoking ban according to Owner Chris Cole. Demolition of the property took place in 2009. From what we can find location opened in the 70's in Mankato. It currently the site of the parking lot for Bridge Plaza which opened in late 2020 into 2021. We'd love to hear your memories of Embers. Next on our Series of THEN & NOW is the current location of Olde Brick House on Madison Avenue. Going back to 2013 it is a Godfathers Pizza. 2015 shows a restaurant called Eatery Tap which then became 7 West Tap House before being converted to an Olde Brick House which it remains today. Next on our series of then and now is 631 S Front St in Downtown Mankato. Let's Look at the building that is now Vivian Rose Boutique and Gifts. In 2008 it was Cyclepathic before becoming Haute Dog Grooming and then empty until Vivian Rose took it over.
