Ed Monk is one of the top instructors in this field. This is an amazing opportunity to attend a training of his without having to travel. I have personally attended his trainings and this is well worth your time.
Successful self defense starts with a defensive mindset. Training like this is how you develop that skill. Owning a gun is not enough.

If you carry a handgun and think “I’ll just handle it” in an active shooter event… you’re probably picturing the wrong fight.
On July 16, Ed Monk is teaching a live 90‑minute webinar on what it actually takes to counter an active shooter with a handgun, built on hard data from real events, not movie scenes or gun-counter fantasies.
Ed has spent years studying active shooter attacks and training cops, teachers, and armed citizens on how these fights really unfold: timelines, hit rates, how fast people are actually shot, and what a lone handgun carrier can realistically do under that kind of pressure.
This session is for you if:
👉 You carry daily and want your plan grounded in reality, not hope.
👉 You’ve wondered whether a handgun is even “enough” against a rifle.
👉 You want concrete takeaways on gear, skill, tactics, and mindset for an active killer scenario.
Most of us will thankfully never see this kind of evil up close. But if you’re the one who’s there when it happens, the time + math of that fight are brutally unforgiving, and you don’t get a do‑over.
Hit the link in the comments, save your spot, and make sure your “plan” is more than a fantasy.

DNA evidence linked Gregory Trepanier to a 2014 kidnapping and attempted sexual assault at gunpoint in Maplewood after investigators spent nearly a decade searching for a suspect.
As recently as 2019, Trepanier was convicted in a separate stalking and indecent exposure case after authorities said he masturbated while watching women in White Bear Lake and Vadnais Heights.
According to the victim's family, the judge referred to the blunder as a "heart-wrenching mistake," appeared deeply troubled by the outcome and apologized to the family.
