2551 Ford #2 is starting to surpass #1 even though #2 is 1 say younger. The other 2 pumpkins are smaller and the plants need some work.

Pumpkins are coming along, 10 day old is a little bigger than a regulation sized basketball, 9 day old about the same size.

2551 Ford x self pollinated that really nice 5 lobe yesterday, had to dig up a few tap roots to build my sand castles, but they look good.

It ain't pretty but hopefully it will keep my g8ant pumpkin plants from burning up from the heat we will be getting for the next 3 or 4 days. Heat index of over 100°. After 24 years of growing giant fruits and vegetables I'm glad I've accumulated so much junk 😀. Not sure what the % of shade I'm getting with that cloth, but maybe somebody will know what the rate is for chiffon. 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀

Summer Patch Tour information!

I have a quite a few mega blooms coming, a couple with some potential. But nothing with that "wow" factor that are impressing me yet. How ever the plants are still pretty small.
