When I was young my father managed the local farmer's market. It would also allow us to make a little extra money.

I would go along with him so that we could spend some quality time together. While reminiscing about these fond memories with my wife, Melissa, we decided that running a booth of our own would be a great way to have fun with our children, Samantha, Hannah, Gabriel, Emma and Brayden. As you might imagine, when raising a small hoard of five children, the family budget can always use a little padding

Okay folks, half of the Lonely Goose Flock is Migrating North under new name of SeMe Family Foods. Lonely Goose will continue to operate here in Manhattan while SeMe Family Foods will be in operation in the Pacific Northwest. SeMe Family Foods will be at the Manhattan Farmers Market today and for the next few weekends before the big migration. Please come out and see what they have to offer today. The Goose is out playing so SeMe is hanging out in the booth space at the Market.

It's a packed day at the Downtown Farmers Market today! We have 2 new flavors today, Shanghai Surprise and House of Pain. We also have quick breads from SeMe Family Foods feeling a little feisty today so the first person to ask me if I've been in a Turkish Prison gets the free jelly.
